August Happenings

This month is all about peaches, zucchini, and tomatoes.  I’ll be making peach pies, tomato quiches, and a super zucchini bread with carrots AND bananas.  Come see me!  Image

As always, my treats are fresh-baked, all natural, preservative-free and made with local dairy, eggs, & produce from Lancaster County, PA.

Petworth Market on Friday, August 9 and August 23 from 4-8 p.m. (on 9th street between Taylor & Upshur Streets NW).

The Farmers Market at University of Maryland every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (August 7, 14, 21, 28)

ImageEllicott City Second Sunday Fair on Sunday, August 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  (by the Historic Ellicott City Visitor’s Center in front of the Little French Market).

Friday, August 9 I’ll be doing a demo at the Petworth Farmers Market of an easy, gluten-free & vegan dish, plus sharing tips on going gluten-free, baking conversions, and recipes.

Thursday, August 22 I’ll be debuting my PB Chocolate Chip cookies in Virginia at Salud, The Healthy Pantry in Great Falls.  Come by to celebrate their store anniversary and sample cookies until 1 p.m. that day.

Also, mark your calendars for Saturday, October 5 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the lot on 15th & P St. NW (between Dupont and Logan Circle)for the DC Meet Market. I’ll be there with Amber’s beautiful ceramics from cloudterre to display my seasonal treats – take home the treat or the bowl (or both!)
