Happy 2014! It’s going to be a great year, with continued expansion around the city of finding fresh, gluten-free goodies, meeting me for samples, and hosting one-of-a-kind events.
Here’s what’s happening in January:
Have you stopped by La Mano Coffee Bar in Takoma Park? The only place to get my gluten-free & vegan everything bagels! Plus a rotating selection of quiches, brownies and cookies. I’ll be there sampling treats on Sunday, January 19th.
Goldilocks Goodies is one of the sponsors for this year’s Polar Bear Plunge at National Harbor, hosted by Chesapeake Climate Action Network, on Saturday, January 25. Brave enough to dip your toes and raise money for a great cause? Donations and teams can be made online. I’ll be there in the morning pre-plunge with quiches and cookies.
Starting January 26, I’ll be hosting Sunday Brunch at my house with buttermilk waffles, savory quiche, and toast or bagels. All gluten-free, fresh-baked and delicious. Very limited space and held only once a month. Sign up here!
My fresh-baked sandwich bread and cinnamon raisin bread is carried by the Little Red Fox in Cleveland Park. Soft, chewy, perfectly grilled and toasted, and stores well in the freezer.
We are eagerly awaiting DC’s first creamery, Sona, to open this month in Eastern Market. They will be selling Goldilocks Goodies treats and bread for gluten-free grilled cheese sandwiches! Stay tuned for exact launch date when they have their full menu up and running.
You can continue to find my treats at these wonderful local shops:
