This month it’s all about blueberries, zucchini and tomatoes! Here’s where you can find pies, muffins, quiches, and quick breads from Goldilocks Goodies:
Friday: Petworth Market Friday evenings between 4-8 p.m. on July 12 and July 26.
Wednesday: Farmers Market at University of Maryland weekly between 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Second Sunday: At Ellicott City on Sunday, July 14 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
This year’s Eat Local First Farm-to-Street party is July 27th at Union Market from 1-7 p.m. Sign up to take the Eat Local pledge and check out the week’s activities.
As always, my PB chocolate chip cookies are stocked at Kefa Cafe (Silver Spring, MD), the Takoma Park-Silver Spring Co-op (Silver Spring), and Lemon Street Market (Lancaster, PA), and a rotating selection of fresh-baked goods are available at the Maryland Food Collective (College Park, MD) and Pleasant Pops Market (NW DC).
A big weekend in DC coming up! Between the holiday and the inauguration, you can stock up on your favorite gluten-free goodies to celebrate with a few options around town.
For the first time this year, order directly from me by Wednesday, January 16th and pick-up this Saturday, January 19th in Columbia Heights between 11 am – 1 pm. Send me an email (email@example.com) and I’ll be happy to put together a personalized order including my brand-new handmade linguine and pumpkin walnut ravioli.
Also coming up this weekend, I’ll be at the TPSS Co-op (Silver Spring location) Saturday, January 19th between 1-3 p.m. sampling my double chocolate pecan cookies. Super satisfying chocolate in every bite. Come see me there while you’re stocking up at your favorite local co-op for the long weekend.
Sunday, January 20th I’ll be at Pleasant Pops between 12 noon and 2 p.m. sampling cookies and quiche. They might be gluten-free but you’d never know because of their taste, texture and all natural, local ingredients. Come meet me and sample new products while getting a great cup of coffee and friendly service at Pleasant Pops.
Hope to see you this weekend at one of these neighborhood locations!
I’ll be at the Silver Spring location of the Takoma-Park Silver Spring Co-op (TPSS) on Thursday, September 6 for their monthly Member Day. You don’t need to be a member to shop at the Co-op, but you do enjoy a discount on every day prices, weekly members-only specials, and a vote on the direction of the co-op. (You can learn more about it and download their membership application here.) The Silver Spring Food Co-op is at 8309 Grubb Road off of East-West Highway near downtown Silver Spring. I’ll be there from 4-6:30 pm with samples of my gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free cookies and maybe something new to surprise you! If you live near the Silver Spring area and haven’t been to the Co-op yet, mark your calendar for September Member Day and I’ll see you there!
